About Dana Care

In 2000 Shand Mian RMN and Registered Manager pursued her lifelong ambition that people with Learning Disability and Mental Health Needs should live a normal life in a domestic setting with robust support behind the scenes.  She converted her own house to a Residential Care Home that became Dana House and developed a fantastic team, most of which are still with us today.

Ever since, our ethos and vision has been to provide care in a way that was homely and that everyone should take part in the daily hustle and bustle of running a household and participate in meaningful activities.

In 2006 Care Worldwide (London) Limited took over Dana Care Limited with Shand staying on as the Registered Manager and complement her knowledge and expertise with the backing of a good support system to take this ambition further.

Fast forward in 2014 we run half a dozen Residential Care and 24 Hour Supported Living settings and have created a community that is Dana Care. Our mission is to make a difference to people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Needs by way of stimulating them and setting the right boundaries in place. Our resolve is to keep on trying and changing until we find what works to enable every individual we support. Every person that joins us is a whole new world and we thrive on achieving results with this person.

Everyone has different needs, we are passionate about finding the right solution for him or her. We have built our reputation on making things possible, bringing the right individuals together with the right support and work very closely with the professionals involved.

Are you currently looking for support for someone, know what you want and not quite sure where to find it? Give us a call and see if we might be able to find a solution together.
